(WOLO) LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C --
Helen George says the last 6 months have been pure agony. She has spent every waking moment wondering what happened to her son, 22 year old Michael George.

George says her son was last seen at a Cayce bar on Christmas eve. The following day she says she retrieved a voicemail on her cell phone left the night before, where a bouncer from the bar said her son was sick, and that he'd bring him home. She says he never made it. Instead, his abandoned car was found the following day.

While George says police have been able to gain a few tips from their facebook page and website dedicated to finding their missing son, they haven't been able to find anything that has led to his whereabouts.

George and other family members plan to hold vigil for him this Monday which is also the 6 month anniversary of his disappearance. Her hope is to keep a light shining on the incident to gain more information about where her son is, and ultimately, bring him home.

Monday night's vigil will be held from 5 to 7 at Virginia Park beside the Lexington Town Hall.
