New Prescription Discount Card

By Rochelle Dean

(WOLO) CAYCE, S.C., --

The Mayor of Cayce, Elise Partin says in this day in age they're seeing more people who are in need of assistance paying the rising cost for prescription drugs. The city has partnered with the National League of Cities to change that.

This one card can save Cayce residents upwards of 23 percent on each medication they need and help them save money for other necessities like food and gas.

The new program does not have any age or income restriction, can be used with or without insurance and best of all, it's completely free of charge to all Cayce residents.
