Officer Wanted for Shooting Estranged Wife

WINNSBORO, S.C. (WOLO) -- The State Law Enforcement Division is searching for a Winnsboro Public Safety officer they say shot his estranged wife.

SLED officials identified the officer as Michael Bernard Roseboro. They say the shooting occurred Sunday at a home along 8th street in Winnsboro.

The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries, and was transported to Palmetto Health Richland for treatment.

Investigators say Roseboro fled the scene in his marked patrol vehicle, a white Crown Victoria.

There is no word on where he may be traveling.
