GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) _ One man has been killed and another arrested after an employee at a Greenville auto repair shop fired a gun as two men tried to rob the store.

Campbell says the employee fired at one suspect, who died at the scene. She says at least one of the suspects was armed.

She says officers arrived in time to arrest the second suspect.

Twenty-one-year-old Ernest Dean Dennis Jr. is charged with possession of a weapon during a violent crime, conspiracy and armed robbery.
