Orangeburg Native, Political Strategist Dies from Stab Wounds

Raleigh, NC (AP)-- A Democratic strategist and Orangeburg native has died after being stabbed in her North Carolina home.

A spokesman for Wakemed Hospital in Raleigh said Wednesday morning that 29-year-old Jamie Hahn died from her injuries.

Hahn and her 27-year-old husband Nation Hahn were stabbed at their home Monday night.

Nation Hahn was released after being treated for his injuries.

A friend of the couple, Jonathan Broyhill, has been arrested and charged with attempted murder.
