Columbia, S.C. (WOLO) -- The scandalous Brett Parker double murder trial leads to the defendant being rushed out of court for a suspected anxiety attack. The man on trial, accused of killing his wife and business partner, had to be taken out of the courtroom and to the hospital this afternoon. Parker had a series of crying spells during witness testimony throughout the morning. He broke down uncontrollably during a forensic pathologist's graphic and extensive statements about gun shot wounds to the victims, Parker's wife, Tammy Jo and friend and business associate, Bryan Capnerhurst. After Parker's attorney requested jurors to be removed, Parker himself was then taken out and transported to an area hospital. His mother tells ABC Columbia it was an anxiety attack. Court is expected to resume tomorrow with the suspect present.
