Police find suspect vehicle from Deadly Hit-and-Run

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol needs your help following a deadly hit-and-run in Lexington County.

Investigators are searching for Romeo Romero in connection with the accident that left one woman dead.

State Troopers say they found the truck they believe was involved in the accident, abandoned in Orangeburg County.

The accident happened Wednesday evening around 6:40 on SC Highway 302, just west of Pelion.

According to the Coroner, 59 year old Irma L. Hudson was killed in the accident.

Officials say Hudson was hit after leaving a dump site on Pine Street in Pelion as she got out of her car to pick up some trash that had fallen from the back of her car
