Lexington Co., SC (WOLO)-- Police say White Knoll High School was randomly targeted for a bomb threat earlier this week.

Lexington County deputies say police in Prince William County, Virginia arrested Tyler Hering Tuesday in Bristow, Virginia.

Investigators there say a search warrant executed at Hering's home and uncovered evidence leading to his arrest.

Monday White Knoll was dismissed early due to the threat.

Investigators did not find any devices in the school.

According to police, it appears Hering randomly selected White Knoll High School and has no ties to the school or anyone in South Carolina.
