"out of sight means out of mind."

But the Rich Program is hoping to change that by displaying an image that won't allow you to forget.
This anti - gun violence tree at Pacific Park along Wanye street here in Columbia is holding the weight of dozens of wooden shaped firearms. All of them bearing the names of everyone in the capitol city between the ages of 19 and 30 lost to gun violence in the last 3 years.

Names of each victim were read aloud as the wooden gun was hung by volunteers who've lost family and friends to gun violence.

Organizer Dr. Juman Miller -Bay says she hopes this display will help people think more about their actions before pulling a trigger that can take someone's life.

Edited for typos: Rubbish. How many were thugs killed by thugs? How many were the result of police use-of-force? How many were suicides? I wonder if examining the demographics of both perpetrator and victim would yield any similarities? Guns are NOT the problem- a sick society IS.
