Skydiver Killed at SC Airport was NC Man

CHESTER, S.C. (AP) _ Authorities have identified a North Carolina skydiver who died following a hard landing at a Chester County airport over the weekend.

Chester County Coroner says that 45-year-old Clarence Huggins of Fayetteville, N.C., was injured when he landed Sunday morning. Huggins died later of trauma at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C.

Officials say that Huggins had made more than 1,000 jumps from airplanes.
