COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) -- Steve Spurrier says he's accepted the fact that 2012 won't be the year South Carolina wins its first ever SEC championship. Now, he's moving on.

At his weekly press conference Tuesday, the Head Ball Coach admitted he was frustrated after last Saturday's 44-11 loss at #2 Florida. Spurrier said he and his coaches are now trying to reinforce the positives and get his team playing better while the #13 Gamecocks prepare for a home game with Tennessee today at noon on ESPN.

"We've got to accept the fact that we're not going to win the SEC this year," Spurrier said. "We've accepted that, but we've got plenty of other goals out there."

Spurrier said he's always been a coach that's set 8-10 goals for his teams to accomplish throughout the season. The main goal Spurrier has left is for USC to win all its home games this season. The Gamecocks are 24-3 in their last 27 games at Williams-Brice Stadium.
