COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) _ The South Carolina State Fair is introducing a new program that organizers hope will get people excited about agriculture in the state.

The fair is rolling out its ``From Field to Fair'' program this year. Through a link on the fair's website, there are several games about sustainability and farming geared toward students through the fifth grade.

Organizers say the games teach children about farming while also meeting curriculum standards for math, science, English and health.

Participants get stamps for completing each game and are eligible to collect a commemorative photo and ribbon at the fair.

This year's South Carolina State Fair runs from Oct. 10 through Oct. 21.
