COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) -- Family and friends are looking for a missing teen who went missing from her home Saturday.

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott says sometime between 3:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. Saturday, 15-year-old Gabrielle Swainson disappeared from her home on Tamara Way.

Investigators say Elvia Swainson, the teen's mother, arrived at home, and her daughter was nowhere to be found. Deputies do not suspect foul play, but they do say the disappearance is not typical of a runaway child or teen.

A picture of the teen is at the top of this story page. Sheriff Leon Lott stated that Gabrielle is described as a black female, 5 feet 2 inches tall, black hair, and last seen wearing pink and black pajamas.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of Gabrielle, please call CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
