Troopers: Driver Ejected from Car in Deadly Accident

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol reports a 1999 Chevrolet Corvette went off a Richland County road Monday night and struck several trees, killing the driver.

The accident happened around 11:15pm on US 21 near Blythewood.

Troopers say the victim was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the car.

The crash remains under investigation.
