COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) -- Two people are dead after a wreck in Lexington County Saturday night.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is reporting that at 9:50 p.m. Saturday, a car was driving west on Neely Wingard Road approaching US Highway 178. The car failed to stop at the intersection. That is when a truck coming down US 178 hit the vehicle, killing the driver of the car and one of the passengers.

Another passenger was transported to the hospital. There is no word on the condition of that passenger. All three were wearing seatbelts at the time of the wreck.
