USC Tuition to Increase About 3%

By Crandall Sims

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) -- The price of attending the University of South Carolina is going up.

A university spokesperson says a tuition increase of 3.15% was approved this week.

The increase will match last year's, which was the smallest increase since 1999 and will help hire more faculty, improve infrastructure and support the university's libraries.
