COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) - South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney was issued a second speeding ticket in less than a month Thursday.

The traffic stop happened shortly before the Gamecocks departed for the airport to fly to Florida for the Jan. 1 Capital One Bowl against Wisconsin.

Columbia Police said Clowney was stopped around 10:30 a.m. Thursday going 84 mph in a 55 mph zone on Interstate 26.

On Dec. 7, state troopers said Clowney was going 110 mph in a 70 mph zone.
