Woman's Purse Stolen Following Car Break-In

CHAPIN, S.C. (WOLO) - The Chapin Police Department is trying to identify two people who are accused of breaking into a vehicle and taking the owner's purse.

The victim's car was parked behind Back in Shape Fitness back on October 18th between 5:30pm and 5:45pm.

Officers say the suspects tried to use the woman's Wells Fargo credit card a half hour later to buy an Xbox Connect, but it was declined at Walmart on Harbison Boulevard.

The duo were seen leaving the store in a newer model, dark colored four-door Sedan with silver rimmed hub caps.
