Education innovation discussed at SC meeting
COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Business, education and policy leaders from across South Carolina are getting together to talk about ways to revamp the state's schooling.
A meeting to be held by New Carolina's Innovation in Education Initiative is set for Wednesday in Columbia. The effort is co-chaired by Mike Brennan, South Carolina president of BB&T, and Pamela Lackey of AT&T.
The event features talks from speakers including Michelin North America, Inc., chairman Pete Selleck.
