Orangeburg homeowner shoots, kills intruder

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (AP) — Orangeburg County sheriff's deputies say a homeowner shot and killed a man who broke into a home.

Sheriff Leroy Ravenell says 21-year-old DeShawn Randolph used a shovel to break a back window of a home near Orangeburg around 11 p.m. Sunday.

Deputies say the homeowner grabbed a gun and shot down the hallway. Randolph was struck and died from his wounds.

An autopsy was planned Tuesday.

No charges have been filed against the homeowner.

WHY would charges be filed .....a thief is a thief and a trouble-maker and a LAW BREAKER....need I say more???????
