Fatal Car Fire

CAYCE, S.C. (WOLO) -- A vehicle catches fire Friday afternoon, killing one person.

At approximately 2:09 p.m., personnel from The Cayce Department Public Safety responded to a two vehicle accident on Charleston Highway at Frink Street.

Officers found a car engulfed in flames. Crews managed to extract both occupants, but one person died from injuries suffered in the fire.

Police have not released any names.
