(WOLO) HOPKINS,S.C., --

Four people are safe tonight after The Chief Deputy park Ranger for the Congaree national Park tells ABC Columbia news they were called to another rescue call.

Officials tell us the 4 people were walking along the trails in the heavy wooded area when they became turned around around 7 Saturday evening.

The four people called park rangers to help them navigate out of the park. Officials say the group was lost for about 30 minutes before they were able to find their way back to the trail before crews were able to go in to help.

No one was injured according to officials.

This comes just one week after a father, his 10 year old son and 6 year old daughter became lost in the same park for four days.

Park officials tell ABC Columbia News, even prior to the family of three becoming lost in the park, they'd considered revising their current trail marking system.

Park Rangers remind people if they do plan to use the trail, to bring light, water and food and even a compass to help if you get lost while walking in the area.

To me this is yet another example of a so-called adult not respecting nature!!!! I think the Park Ranger should be able to FINE anyone so thoughtless to wander where they are not familiar....RESPONSIBILITY visitors....plain old responsibility and COMMON SENSE.
