Lexington Car Dealership Reports Tire/Rim Theft

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO) - Lexington Police could use your help surrounding a recent theft at a car dealership.

The suspect allegedly entered the parking lot of Herndon Chevrolet on Sunset Boulevard in a U-Haul rental van early Thursday morning and made off with the rims and tires of two new Corvettes.

Officers say the same crime was also committed at other car dealerships in the Harbison area but involved different types of cars.

If your tire and rim is over a grand, and you have 4 of them sitting outside in this economy you might want to put an alarm on them. Next they will bring a fork lift and take the whole vehicle.
