LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) - A Lexington man is behind bars after authorities say he tried to sell cocaine to an undercover officer.

37-year-old Charles Morehouse was arrested Monday afternoon.

He is married to Crystal Morehouse who serves as the Lexington County sheriff's administrative assistant.

While investigators say she was not aware of or involved in the drug deal, Crystal was placed on administrative leave with pay.
