LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO) - Local supporters of the 2nd Amendment will speak their peace Wednesday.

They plan to sign a letter, asking their local sheriff to uphold the US Constitution and not enforce any gun bans the federal government may enact.

It's part of a national effort, titled "Operation Sheriff Reach."

Organizers have asked local citizens to join them between 11am and 1pm at court houses, town squares or sheriff's departments across the country.
