COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) - When it comes to travel, the Columbia Metropolitan Airport is pumping with activity, but the American Heart Association is also recognizing it as a gold fit-friendly worksite.

The airport's wellness program has grown to include a variety of programs that encourage the staff's wellness during the week.

Among the airports largest initiatives is the annual Runway Run 5K.
