ANDERSON, S.C. (AP) -- Authorities say a South Carolina state trooper has reported his badges and body armor have been stolen from his patrol car.

Police said the trooper was inside a building investigating a car break-in Wednesday morning. When he returned to his cruiser, he noticed his shirt and wallet badges were missing along with his body armor and a flashlight.

The trooper told investigators it didn't look like anyone tried to break into his cruiser.

Police haven't said if they have any suspects.

maybe this IDIOT should have LOCKED the DOORS. But that might have taken someone with an IQ higher than the temp of ICE to figure that out. He's a moron and should be made to PAY TO REPLACE THE ITEMS......yeah like that'll happen
