Midlands Night Spot to Hold Fund Raiser for Defibrillator

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)--Good music for a good cause, you have a chance to help put a life saving device in a popular Midlands night spot and maybe more in the future.

Saturday, the Art Bar on Park Street in the Vista will host Keep it Beating, a benefit to raise money to purchase an automatic external defibrillator and to provide CPR training.

The doors open at 8pm and tickets are $5.

Bands scheduled to appear:
American Gun 12:30-1:45 a.m.
Devils In Disguise 11:30 p.m.-12:15 a.m. Alien Carnival 10:30-11:15 p.m.
Mustache Brothers 9:30-10:15 p.m.
Daddy Lion 8:30-9:15 p.m.

THANKS but no thanks....the VISTA is a dangerous place at night time and with all the monkeying around....one defibrillator is NOT going to make much of a difference....too many hot headed hoods downtown Columbia...should have a curfew...yes, it should!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
