GOP Runoff For Vacant Seat Decided

Former South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford has cleared another hurdle in his bid for a political comeback, defeating a former county council member to win the G-O-P nomination for a vacant U.S. House seat.
with 99 percent of precincts reporting...sanford had about 57 percent of the vote to 43 percent for Curtis Bostic...a former Charleston County Council Member. The candidates were vying today in a g-o-p runoff in the 1st Congressional District. The seat Sanford held for three terms in the 90's.
