3rd Teen Arrested in Death of Chester Grandmother
CHESTER, S.C. (AP) _ A third teenager has been arrested in the death of a grandmother killed in her Chester home.
Authorities said 19-year-old Shaderius Demark Cohen was arrested Thursday night and charged with murder and weapons possession. Cohen was being held without bond, and it wasn't clear if he had an attorney.
Investigators say 59-year-old Jimmie Paul was shot in her legs and chest at around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday. Chester County deputies say Paul's 17-year-old grandson and another man, 18-year-old Marquaes Buchanan, are also facing murder charges.
Investigators say the teens planned the attack but officers are releasing few other details, including why Paul was targeted. Authorities say Paul's husband was working in a shed behind the home when his wife was killed. He found her body.
