CAINHOY, S.C. (AP) _ Berkeley County officials have discovered a man who was electrocuted at an electric substation in Cainhoy.

Utility workers responding to a power outage found the body late Sunday morning near some transformers behind a fence.

Coroner Bill Salisbury says 29-year-old Zachary Jones of Salters was found in a pit around a transformer inside a Berkeley Electric Co-Op substation.

Salisbury says a fence had been cut to gain access to the area.

It's not clear why Jones was behind the fence. The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
