RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) - The Richland County Sheriff's Department needs your help finding a man who is supposedly throwing rocks from an overpass at passing vehicles.

The first incident occurred just before midnight last Saturday in the westbound lanes of I-26. It was near exit 94. Deputies say the victim's windshield shattered, injuring the driver and her passengers. They were taken to Lexington Medical Center for treatment.

Another reported incident caused major damage to the front end of a second victim's car. It happened Monday night along Broad River Road at Bookie Richardson Road.

The suspect is described as a white man between the ages of 20 and 35. He's believed to be driving a white, older pickup truck, possibly a F-150 Silverado.

Sheriff Leon Lott says this suspect needs to be caught before he kills someone because of his actions.

If you have any information concerning these incidents, you're asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
