Education Panel: SC Schools Not Making the Grade
Columbia, SC (WOLO)-- South Carolina is falling short of its educational goals.
According to findings released today by the South Carolina Education Oversight Committee only 61% of 4th graders in our state scored basic and above on a national reading proficiency test. Founded in 1998, the Education Oversight Committee is an independent non partisan group made up of educators, business people, and elected leaders. |

WHO is surprised by this finding?????? The more Democrats scream for more money for the schools,'pay teachers tuition to go back to college for additional certification, demand extra teachers for students that do NOT speak English, reward bad behavior because troubled students have to have'special handling and tools'.....this vicious cycle will continue! for extra college '
