Getting South Carolinians Ready for the Polls

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) - Heading to the polls will be a little bit different this year in South Carolina.

The Richland County Elections and Voter Registration Office wants to help you prepare by holding two workshops:

Wednesday, January 16, beginning at 6:00 p.m. County Council Chambers, 2020 Hampton Street, Columbia

Tuesday, February 12, beginning at 6:00 p.m. County Council Chambers, 2020 Hampton Street, Columbia

Officials want to explain the new types of ID that will be required to vote.
