Man Charged in Fatal Greenville Shooting

By Alicia Barnes

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) _ Authorities say they have charged a 23-year-old man with murder in the killing of an Iraq War veteran outside a Greenville bar.

Greenville County deputies said Billy Taylor fired shots into a car last weekend. Investigators say 29-year-old Rodney Nesbitt was struck and died, while a second person in the car was wounded.

Authorities say the shooting followed a fight at Crocs Nightclub early Saturday morning.

Taylor also faces attempted murder and other charges. He was being held at the Greenville County jail and it wasn't known if he had a lawyer.
