By News Department

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) - Some scam artists are just waiting to dupe people out of their hard-earned money.

The Richland County Sheriff's Department says this latest one is targeting the Hispanic community.

Deputies say the suspects are posing as Fairfield Electric representatives on the phone and telling victims that they're behind on their power bills.
