Cayce Police Guns Stolen
(WOLO) CAYCE,S.C.,--
Authorities are on the lookout for two firearms stolen from a parked patrol car. Police are still trying to figure out who swiped a remington 12 gauge shotgun, a .40 caliber glock, and a bullet proof vest. Cayce Police say they recommend officers put their firearms in the trunk of their vehicles if they don't plan on bringing them into their homes, but according to Lt. jeffery Simmons who was robbed, there was no specific policy in place that he knew of. If you have any information that can help police recover these items, you are urged to call crimestoppers at 1888-CRIME-SC |

How about a common sense policy, like high speed chases being akin to shooting to stop a fleeing shoplifter in a crowded shopping mall?
