Deputies: Tip Leads to Midlands Drug Arrests

By News Department

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) - A simple phone call points deputies to a meth lab at an unoccupied home in Lexington County.

Now two men are facing drug charges.

The sheriff's department says it responded to the 1600 block of Joye Street Tuesday night and noticed a strong smell coming from the property.

After obtaining a search warrant, deputies confiscated a one-liter plastic soda bottle that was used as a reaction vessel.
