Former Employee Arrested for Sumter Company's Fire

SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO) - A man is arrested for burglarizing and then burning down his former Sumter workplace.

Police say Arthur Morris was recently fired.

The fire started early Monday morning at Lowery Heating and Air on Neeley Street.

Crews battled the flames for a couple of hours.

It caused about $500,000 in damage.

Additional charges are pending.
