Graham Calls for President to Help Jailed Pastor

Columbia, SC (WOLO)--Senator Lindsey Graham is calling on President Obama to take the lead in the effort to free an American pastor jailed in Iran for practicing Christianity.

In a letter to the president, Senator Graham asks that he call for the unconditional release of Saeed Abedini.

Saeed Abedini, an American pastor of Iranian decent, was sentenced to 8 years in prison earlier this week for what the Iranian government claims was an attempt to undermine their authority by creating a network of Christian churches in private homes.
