Gubernatorial Candidate Sheheen's Road Proposal

By Eric Weisfeld

Columbia, SC (WOLO)-Democratic candidate for Governor Vincent Sheheen has released how he plans to improve conditions.
The Camden Senator says he wants The General Assembly to dedicate five percent of the state budge and surplus every year to repairing and building roads.
Sheheen also wants to immediately borrow money for those road projects that can't wait, and hold off on building new ones, all while reorganizing The Department Of Transportation.
And he says, he won't raise the gas tax.
Governor Nikki Haley and independent candidate Tom Ervin have not released their road plans, but Haley has also said her plan would not involve raising taxes.
