AIKEN, S.C. (AP) _ Aiken County deputies say a fire that killed a father and his 2-year-old daughter appears to be intentionally set.

Investigators said Monday they found the fatal fire started in several different places in 28-year-old Dunkan Baker's home Saturday morning. They also have ruled out that the fire started accidentally.

Authorities say Baker and his daughter died from burns and smoke inhalation. The fire was reported by a passing motorist.

Deputies say they are looking at suspects and trying to figure out why someone would have set the fire.
