150 Soldiers to Leave for Afghanistan

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO) - Some of our state's bravest are getting ready to say goodbye to family and friends.

A departure ceremony will be held for 150 soldiers Saturday morning at Lexington High School.

The 122nd Engineers will travel to Texas for training before leaving for Afghanistan.

They're expected to be gone about a year
