Baby Found On The Side Of The Road

Columbia, SC (WOLO/WCIV)-A baby has been found on the side of the road in Berkeley County after allegedly being taken from an Orangeburg County home.
W-C-I-V reports... the child was found near highway 311 and highway 176 in Moncks Corner this afternoon.
Officials say someone called 9-1-1 to report finding the child and seeing a car drive away from the area.
The Orangeburg County Sheriff's Department tells A-B-C Columbia news... they received a call about a 4-month old being kidnapped from a Catamount Road home in Holy Hill.
While officers were responding and working to get an Amber Alert out, they were notified that the child had been found in Berkeley County.
the baby girl is said to be unharmed and back with her family.
