Crazy Weather Hits Midlands
Mother Nature brought heavy rain and even heavier gusts of winds through the area Wednesday night bringing down trees and threatening power lines in her path.
The National Weather Service reported wind gusts up to nearly 30 miles per hour through out the day over turning newspaper stands and street signs.
While there wasn't much flooding in the area, we did see our share of heavy downpours throughout the evening and could continue to see rain throughout the remainder of the night.
A tornado watch will remain in effect until 1 in the morning and a wind advisory in effect until 6 in the morning.
