Man Back in Custody after Fleeing Police

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) - A man is back in police custody after deputies say he escaped through a back door during questioning.

31-year-old Corie Lawrence was arrested in Charlotte, North Carolina Thursday morning during a traffic violation.

He has been extradited back to Richland County.

Lawrence is facing charges for attempting to rob five victims and holding them at gunpoint back on November 2nd.
