Last Vietnam Vet Retires

(WOLO) Columbia, S.C., --

The South carolina National guard has said goodbye to one of their own today.
Chief Warrant Officer Eric Seymore, the last Vietnam Veteran has decided to retire after 43 years of service.

Seymore who flew for the 114th assault helicopter Company in vietnam was honored in a ceremony held Sunday afternoon.

Also in attendance during the ceremony, Seymore's wife Peggy of 39 years and their two sons who've also served in the military.
