EASTOVER, S.C. (WOLO) - Some of our state's bravest are getting ready to say goodbye for a year.

A departure ceremony will be held for 60 soldiers Saturday at the McEntire Joint National Base in Eastover.

The unit includes helicopter pilots, maintenance and other support personnel.

They'll head to Texas first before leaving for Afghanistan.
