RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) - The Richland County Sheriff's Department has a new tool to keep you from becoming the victim of a crime.

That's thanks to a partnership with Absolute Software.

It will provide a three-month, free subscription to a service that will help track and recover both lost and stolen iPads, iPhones and computers.

Sheriff Leon Lott says it's a helpful resource, considering most people have those types of electronic devices.
