Police: Woman Shoots Husband in Face

SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO) - Police say a domestic dispute turned violent between a couple in Sumter.

24-year-old Brittany Mackie is accused of shooting her husband in the face with a handgun.

Monday night, officers say they found the man lying on a bedroom floor at a home off South Street.

The victim was taken to the hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.

Witnesses claim the two had been arguing throughout the day.
